PMGC 2021 League Stage West: Teams, Groups, schedule and format revealed
The PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021 Season 1, aka PMGC 2021, is commencing from November 30 and is being held in two regions: West and East. In the former, we have teams from America, Europe, and Brazil. PMGC 2021 has a huge prize pool of USD 6 million.

PMGC West format
The top 20 teams from the Eastern region (America/Europe/and Brazil) will compete in league stages lasting 3 weeks.
The PMGC 2021 East Season 1 will be divided into three stages
1.) PMGC 2021 League Stage (Qualifier round for Super Weekend)
- Five groups of four teams, based on their seeding as provided by the organisers.
- Five matches will be played every Tuesday and Wednesday, with ten matches each week.
- The top 16 from each week of league stage will book their slots in the super weekend for that corresponding week
Schedule for League Weekend of PMGC 2021:
- December 30th, Tuesday: League stage Week 1, Day 1
- December 1st, Wednesday: League stage Week 1, Day 2
- December 7th, Tuesday: League stage Week 2, Day 1
- December 8th, Wednesday: League stage Week 2, Day 2
- December 14th, Tuesday: League stage Week 3, Day 1
- December 15th, Wednesday: League stage Week 3, Day 2
2.) PMGC 2021 Super Weekend Stage
- Top 16 teams of the league stage will play the respective Super Weekend every week
- Five matches will be played each weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) for three weeks, with 15 matches each week.
- The Super weekend points table will decide the actual league final standings.

- December 3rd, Friday: Super Weekend Week 1, Day 1
- December 4th, Saturday: Super Weekend Week 1, Day 2
- November 5th, Sunday: Super Weekend Week 1, Day 3
- December 10th, Friday: Super Weekend Week 2, Day 1
- December 11th, Saturday: Super Weekend Week 2, Day 2
- December 12th, Sunday: Super Weekend Week 2, Day 3
- December 17th, Friday: Super Weekend Week 3, Day 1
- December 18th, Saturday: Super Weekend Week 3, Day 2
- December 19th, Sunday: Super Weekend Week 3, Day 3
After the nine days of Super Weekend, the cumulative points of the teams will decide the top 16 teams that qualify for the league finals.
3.) League Finals of PMGC 2021
The top 16 qualified teams from PMGC 2021: The West League will compete in a 3-day league final from December 22-24, 2021. After the completion of 18 matches, the top 6 teams from the overall standings will qualify for the Grand final
