PMGC 2021: Superweekend week 1 East Teams, Format, and where to watch

The biggest PUBG Mobile tournament in the globe, "PMGC 2021" East League Stage Day 2, concluded yesterday. PMGC has divided the top 20 teams from the eastern side into 5 groups of four teams, each fighting it out for a large prize pool of USD 6 million.

The format is almost the same as the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2020, which took place last year.

PMGC League Stage (Qualifier round for Super Weekend)

• Five groups of four teams, each based on their group, are provided by the organisers.
• Every Tuesday and Wednesday Five matches daily, that is ten matches will be played every week.
• The top 16 of each week of the league stage will book their slots for the same week in the Super Weekend.

PMGC East League stage Superweekend

• Each week the top 16 teams from the league stage will play Super Weekend.
• Matches played every Friday, Saturday and Sunday for three weeks.

Indonesia's Bigetron RA and FaZe Clan, along with PMPS S2 Korea Final winner Damwon Gaming and PUBG Mobile Rivals Cup champion BC Swell, failed to qualify for the first Super Weekend.

PUBG Mobile Esports has collaborated with YouTube Gaming for the broadcast. The live stream will be in multiple languages.
