COD Mobile World Championship 2021 East Finals: Teams, Groups, Prize pool, schedule and format

The COD Mobile World Championship 2021 Finals has been switched to online mode due to the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure the safety of players and staff, with the event split into two regions: Eastern and Western.

The event featured the top 12 teams from the Eastern region. The teams are divided into 2 groups of six teams (Japan, South Asia, South East Asia, and China) will compete on the 11th and 12th of December.

The Final has a huge prize pool of USD 1 million. A total of USD 300,000 will be awarded to the winners of the tournament, while the first and second runner-ups will be awarded a total of USD 180,000 and USD 125,000.

COD Mobile World Championship 2021 East Format

The twelve teams are divided into two groups and will play the other teams in their group in a round-robin format. The top two teams in both the groups will qualify for the next stage, while the other eight teams will be eliminated.

Qualified teams will compete in 5 matches in a double-elimination bracket to decide the Call of Duty Mobile Eastern World Champion 2021.

The World Championship East Finals 2021 will go live on the official Call of Duty Mobile Esports YouTube channel at 15:00 JST (6.30 PM IST).
